Who Needs a Will?
Everyone who owns any assets needs an estate plan of some kind. A will may be appropriate if your heirs don't need access to your estate assets immediately and you are confident they can deal with the probate court and its processes.

Who Needs a Trust?
If you have minor children who would need immediate access to your assets if you should die, or if you'd like more control over who manages your estate and how, or if you'd like to keep your affairs private instead of exposing them to the public in the probate court, a revocable trust may be right for you.
